Poland – Louise Guttridge Schwartz, 102 of Poland, OH, died Thursday evening March 14, 2019 at the Inn at Glenellen in North Lima. She was born August 9, 1916 at the Southside Hospital in Youngstown. Louise was a daughter of daughter of James and Bertha (Matthews) Guttridge of Youngstown.

Louise was a graduate of South High School and attended Youngstown College. She was an employee of Truscon as a secretary and later served a an Administrator for the Blackburn Home in Poland. Her husband, Forrest D. Schwartz, whom she married September 6, 1944 died December 22, 1996.

She leaves her daughter, Jane S. Watts and family, William C. Watts and grandson Elliott C. Watts and his wife Lindsay (Gardlock) Watts of Poland and Marily (Schwartz) Seabright of West Hollywood, California. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Forrest B. Schwartz; a brother, Alan Robert Guttridge and her sister; Alma Jane Murphy-Bone, and a grandson, William Charles Watts III. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 21, 2019 at Poland Riverside Cemetery with Dr. Paul Anderson officiating.
