North Lima – John “Jack” L. Mound, 82, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Ivy Woods Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Mound was born May 21, 1936, a son of James and Emma (Wunderlich) Mound. Born and raised in Poland, he was a 1955 graduate of Poland Seminary High School.

Mr. Mound worked as a truck driver for Chevron for over 30 years. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post No. 15.

His wife, the former Donna Sampson, whom he married June 8, 1966, preceded him in death on February 28, 2002. Jack is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Donahue and Caroline Johnson; and brothers, James and Charles Mound.

There are no calling hours or services. Interment will be at Poland Riverside Cemetery. Memorial tributes may take the form of contributions in Mr. Mound’s name to All Caring Hospice, 6715 Tippecanoe Rd.
