New Middletown – A burial service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church in Youngstown for Anna (Timariu) Pacura 89 who passed away Saturday morning at home with her loving family by her side. Anna was born Feburary 22, 1930 in Pianu de Jos, Romania, a daughter of Ioan and Raveca Albu Timariu. She came to the United States at the age of 16 and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church, the Ladies Auxiliary Carmen Sylva of the Church and a member A.R.F.O.R.A. Anna enjoyed baking and cooking and was dedicated to her faith and family. Anna married Victor Pacura on May 15, 1949. Besides her husband of New Middletown, she leaves her children Victoria Hoffman of Columbiana, OH; two sons Victor J. Pacura of Salem, OH, who was her primary caregiver, and Dan Pacura of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren Melinda (Allen) Holtzman, Frankie (Andy Wolniewicz) Hoffman, Justin Hoffman, Nigel Pacura; and five great-grandchildren A.J. Holtzman, Jr., Kalotina Holtzman, Browning Holtzman, Anastasia Holtzman and Caleb Sheppard.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Janice Pacura Maxwell; one brother Emil Timariu; and one daughter-in-law Amy Pacura. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday one hour before the burial service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Material contributions in Anna’s name can be made to the Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church Building Fund at 626 Wick Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44502.
