Andrew Donald Czarnecki, 84 Boardman – Andrew Donald Czarnecki, 84, died Sunday morning, March 10, 2019 at the Greenbriar with his loving family by his side. He was born June 6, 1934 in Struthers, the son of the late Andrew and Regina Czarnecki and had been a lifelong area resident. Andrew was a graduate of Struthers High School and had worked at General Motors at the Lordstown plant for many years.

He enjoyed gun collecting and admiring classic cars. Besides his wife, the former Dora Billock, whom he married July 7. 1956, he leaves his son, Jerry (Lisa) Czarnecki of Perkasie, PA; two granddaughters, Sabrina Elkhouri and Stephanie Moyer; three great-grandchildren, Mason Moyer, Kennedy Moyer and Christian Elkouri, and two sisters-in-law, Laverne (Claude) Obenauf and Theresa Czarnecki Besides his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Czarnecki; his daughter, Darlene Bruderly; and his brother, Thomas Czarnecki.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 am at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market Street in Boardman with Pastor Rusty Wills officiating. Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Friday and from 10:00 to 10:50 am at the funeral home prior to the services. Andrew will be loved and missed by many, especially his roommate and buddy, Layne Shumaker at the Greenbriar.
