Loving father of Decon Frank (Kathy) Materia, Peter (Ethel) Materia, Michael (Elaine) Materia and MaryAnn (Nick) Dellosa. Caring grandfather of Christopher and Donna Materia, Ariana and Marli Dellosa and Kristen Materia and Keith Maklary.

Great Grandfather to Olivia Maklary. Dear Brother to Mildred Spirito, Lawrence Materia and the late Paul and Donald Materia. Before retiring in 1987 Frank was a Truck Driver for Time/ DC Trucking Co. in Secaucus He was a parishioner of Assumption R.C. Ch, member in V.F.W. Post 3616 and Democratic Club all on Wood-Ridge.

Mr. Materia served his Country in the Army during WWII achieving the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal. European – African – Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and Bronze Star Attachment, WWII Victory Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge 1st. Award, Honorable Service Lapel Button WWII, Expert Badge & Rifle Bar and the New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal with Cluster.

Funeral Tues, 10 am from Kohler Funeral Home 280 Hackensack St. Wood-Ridge Mass 10:30 am Assumption RC Child. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery V is. Mon.
