Frankie Charlene Solomon, 83, of Jefferson City, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019. She was the oldest member of First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City. Frankie retired after 30 years of teaching in the Jefferson County School System.

She was preceded in death by her son, Tim E. Solomon; and parents, Charles and Faye Hodgson. She is survived by her loving husband, Tom E. Solomon; daughter, Suzanne Davis; granddaughter, Rachelle Davis; brother-in-law, Frank (Nancy) Solomon; sister-in-law, Annie (David) Hubbard; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Hodges Cottage at Jefferson Park for their loving care.

Funeral service 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Jefferson City with Rev. Lloyd Jones officiating. Interment to immediately follow in Jefferson Memorial Garden.
