Obituary of Frank Forte, Jr. Frank Forte, age 82, of Trumbull, CT succumbed to a long illness on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Smilow Cancer Hospital, New Haven. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 53 years Rosemary Crimley Forte. Frank was born in Mount Vernon, New York on June 18, 1935.

He was the son of the late Frank and Elvira Forte. The youngest of four children he was predeceased by his loving brother and sisters, Joseph, Ida and Lucy. Frank was a career Firefighter for the Mount Vernon Fire Department with 23 years of distinguished service.

He also became one of the Department’s first Firefighter-Paramedics. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army who served during the Korean War. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He will be truly missed by all. Frank is survived by his two devoted children, Dr. Frank J. Forte of Milford and Annmarie Forte Sliby, and her husband Roger Sliby of Orange, four grandchildren, Corey and Jenna Forte, and Alexa-Nicole and Jiliana Sliby, and many nieces and nephews. Frank is best remembered by his friends and family for his kind and generous nature.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 4-8 in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Funeral services will take place Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, 6948 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private for the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to Jewish Senior Services, 4200 Park Avenue Bridgeport CT. 06604.
