OBITUARY Freda Simmons Forester March 19, 1935 – July 13, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Freda Simmons Forester, “29” and holding, of Chattanooga, Tennessee gained her butterfly wings and they’re blinged out on July 13, 2018. She was a member of Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Freda worked at Cobble of Chattanooga for several years and had a love for butterflies.

Extended family referred to her as Mom or Mumsie and she loved you all. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nellie Simmons; husband, Edward E. Foresters; son, Edward M. Forester and sister, Doris Parlaman. She is survived by her children, Timothy P. Forester and Alicia (Doug) Pell; grandsons, Eddie and Ernie; granddaughter, Erika (Travis) Bull; great-grandchildren, Javalynn and Colin Bull; brother-in-law, Gary (Frances) Forester; nephew, Gary Forester, Jr. and his daughter, Makaleigh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 11 am at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Gary Forester, Jr., Doug Pell, Dan Zorn, Travis Bull, Al Wade and Doug Bowman. Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
