OBITUARY Mr. Lester Lee Shell Jr. March 31, 1947 – July 18, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Lester Lee Shell, Jr., 71, of Chattanooga passed away on July 18, 2018. He was a Godly man that loved his family, jokes, magic tricks and fishing. Lester also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play baseball, watching NASCAR, antique cars and was a big UT football fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester “Leck” and Katherine Shell; brother, Larry Shell and sister, Barbara Tate. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Linda Shell; children, David Scott (Mandy Tindell) Shell and Steven Michael (Mandy Yother) Shell; five grandchildren, Hunter, Marley, Sam, Braden and Abby; brother, Randy (Kim) Shell. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Sneed officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
