Frederic A. Marker March 25, 1944 – March 11, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Frederic A. Marker, 74, of Rome died Monday, March 11, 2019. He was born March 25, 1944 in Rome, NY the son of Louis and Nellie Ramsey Marker. He attended Rome Schools and was a groundskeeper for Rome Developmental Center until it closed and then transferred to CNY Psychiatric Center, Marcy, NY.

Fred enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours caring for his pond and property. He was a past member of Tappet Twirlers of Rome and the National Rifle Association. He is survived by three daughters, Amy Banks and her children Raymond, Aliyah, and Jase; Melissa Reese and her children, Amanda and Rachael; Dawn Marker Thompson and family; a step- son, Thomas Robbins and family; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Barbara Marker of Colorado.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday at Prince-Boyd & Hyatt Home for Funerals, Inc., 210 W. Court St., Rome. Relatives and friends may call at the Home for Funerals Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
