He was born March 28, 1947, in Kennett, Missouri to the late Elmer and Helen Barnes Green. He married Katherine Tansil July 14, 1972 in Kennett.

Survivors include: His wife: Katherine Green of Senath Two daughters: Megan Green of Senath Jessica Baldwin and husband, Jim of St. Louis, MO One brother: Terry Green and wife, Becky, of Fort Worth, Texas 3 Grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends. Mr. Green was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from BNSF Railroad, having worked there for 35 years.

The funeral service will be Saturday, February 23, 11:00 A.M. at the Senath Church of Christ with Mr. Jim Mauldin officiating. Burial will be in the Senath Cemetery. The visitation will begin at 9:00 and continue until service time.

Pallbearers will be: Lincoln Tansil, Logan Tansil, Billy Wayne Tansil, Shad Green, John Kremer, Byron Small, Landon Small and Jamie Montgomery. McDaniel Funeral of Senath in charge of arrangements.
