(Seymore) Simmons was born December 24, 1932 in Kennett, Missouri and departed this life on February 3, 2019 at the age of 86 years. Bobby married Frieda Elaine Hogan on February 14, 1953 in Gobler, Missouri. Elaine preceded him in death on December 23, 2016.

Survivors include: Two sons: Gary Simmons of Kennett, Missouri Tim (Sherry) Simmons of Kennett, Missouri Grandchildren: Mark Simmons of Kennett, Missouri Haley (Luke) Johnson of Winter Garden, Florida Other relatives and many friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Gladys Simmons, his wife of 63 years Elaine Hogan Simmons, his son Rick Simmons, four brothers: Billy, Leon, Harold and George Simmons and one sister: Brenda Wolford. Bobby was of Kennett, Missouri and served his country in the United States Army.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 10:30 Am Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the McDaniel Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.
