Sammy married Linda Hopper on April 13, 1968 in Kennett, Missouri. Survivors include: His wife Linda Milburn of Norfork, Arkansas Two daughters: Christina King of Kennett, Missouri Trina Popejoy of Norfork, Arkansas Four grandchildren: Felicia, Aaron, Gavin and Ashley Eight great grandchildren Two sisters: Jane Hardesty of Poplar Bluff, Missouri Pat Roe of Rector, Arkansas Other relatives and many friends. Sammy was preceded in death by one brother: Thomas Milburn Sammy was of Norfork, Arkansas formerly of Kennett, Missouri.

Sammy retired from City, Light, Gas and Water of Kennett. Missouri. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Cluster-Herron Cemetery in Henderson, Arkansas. Terry Milburn officiating. Honored to serve as pallbearers: Gavin Ingram, Aaron King, Jimmy Ingram, Mike Ingram and David Wright.

Honorary pallbearers will be City, Light, Gas and Water Crew. McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.
