Obituary for Gaither Dennis Richesin Gaither Dennis Richesin, age 95 of Sweetwater, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, November 9. He was a life-long member of Murray’s Baptist Church of Sweetwater. He taught Sunday school and was music director at Murray’s for 48 years.

Gaither was a Purple Heart recipient during WW II. He was born June 14, 1923 to Robert and Maggie Richesin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Gertrude Graves Richesin and was also preceded in death by son Jerry Gourley, son-in-law Larry Kyker, brothers Earl, Glen, Arnold and sisters Joyce Plemons and Allie Williams.

Survivors include: daughter Rhonda Kyker, son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Cynthia Richesin, and daughter-in-law Brenda Phillips of Sweetwater. Grandchildren are Rickey Joe Gourley, Lindsey Richesin, Kelsey (Carl) Carter, and Mandy (Kurt) Bonnough; great grandchildren Bryson and Chase Bonnough; special niece and spouse Shirley and Austin Raby. Special thanks to Dr. Ben Coffey and Sweetwater Hospital ICU Staff.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. in Kyker’s Chapel with Rev. Clayton Dunsmore officiating. Interment with full military honors 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday in the Murray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
