Garry’s Obituary Garry Kamps, age 34, of Hudsonville, is home with his Savior after a nearly 6. 5-year struggle with cardiomyopathy. He is survived by his mother Nancy and Bob (Danielson) Hoekstra; father, Don Kamps; sister, Andrea and Troy Ruwersma; brother, Nicholas Kamps; sister, Susie and Chris Otterbein; 7 nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins; many friends; his beloved dog, Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Helen Danielson, Nelson and Marge Kamps. Funeral services for Garry will be held on Friday, January 18, at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Grove Christian Reformed Church, 3515 Perry St. Hudsonville, MI 49426. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at VanderLaan Funeral Home on Thursday, January 17, from 6 to 9 P.M. and on Friday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association. The family wishes to thank the Ottawa County First Responders, all of the Medical Staff of Spectrum Heart Center and all of Garry’s faithful friends.
