OBITUARY Garry Michael Nash September 27, 1949 – December 2, 2018 Garry Michael Nash, on the evening of December 2, 2018, passed away peacefully of natural causes. Garry was being visited and comforted by family members at Coventry Meadows Nursing Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, at the time of his death. Garry was 69 years old.

Garry was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on September 27, 1949. He was one of seven children of Charles and Luretta (Helser) Nash. Garry was member of the United States Air Force from 1969-1972, where he was stationed in Louisiana and Alaska.

He represented the Air Force as a bowler, and continued to bowl throughout his life. Garry is a two-time Fort Wayne Bowling Association City Champion, in 1978 and 1982. Garry also won the FWBA City Doubles Championship in 2008.

Garry is survived by his son, Andrew (Tammy) Nash; daughter, Kelly (Craig)Hampton; grandchildren, Derek Nash, Tyson Nash, Phineas Hampton, and Henry “Hank” Hampton; and siblings, Jackie, Charlene, Mary, Pat, and Rick. Garry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim. Garry generously donated his body to the Anatomical Education Program at Indiana University School of Medicine.

Memorial Service is 4pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd. , Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior. Pastor Murray Clugston officiating.
