Gary E. Zink, 68 of Roseville, passed away on September 23, 2018, while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House. Gary was born in Zanesville on February 9, 1950. He is the son of Sally Zink of Roseville and the late E. Leon Zink.

He worked for the IBEW Local #71 as an outside electrical worker. He was a member of the American Legion Post 71 in Roseville and the Roseville / Crooksville VFW Post #9090. He served his country in the US Army serving in Vietnam.

Gary is survived by his mother, Sally; The love of his life, Norma Jackson, whom he spent the last 20 years with; his son, Gary Zink Jr.; his two daughters, Julie Pettit and Lori Pinkerton; his several grandchildren; and his sister-in-law, Vickie Zink. In addition to his father, Gary is preceded in death by his brother, Marty Zink and his sister, Peggy McInerney. In keeping with Gary’s wishes, his body will be cremated and no services will be held.

The Farus Funeral Home is entrusted with caring for the Zink family.
