Gary Joe Rypma, age 73, of Grand Rapids, MI was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 11, 2019. Gary was a loving husband, father, and grandpa, who treasured his faith and family. He was an active member of Ada Bible Church.

Gary enjoyed attending many of his grandchildren’s activities and spending time outside near the water. Gary was a conscientious provider, who spent most of his years operating his auto business. He was loved by everyone he met, Including his family, friends, and co-workers.

Gary served his country as an officer in the U.S. Army. He will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 51 years, Sally Rypma; children, Ryan Rypma, Roman Rypma, Holly and Mark Wright, Heather and Isaac Kennedy; grandchildren, Devon, Kellen, and Evelyn Kennedy, Madalyn Rypma, Xavier and Sienna Wright, Nils and Jorn Rypma, along with many nieces and Nephews. Per the family’s wishes, there will be no services.
