Gary’s Obituary Gary Lee Garrow Sr. May 12, 1952 – February 11, 2019 Gary Garrow Sr. passed away after a short battle with brain cancer. Gary was born on May 12, 1952 to Frank and Evelyn (Gauthier) Garrow in Newberry, Michigan. Gary loved to play bingo and to go ice-fishing.

He loved the outdoors. Gary is survived by his children Joey (Margaret) Awonohopay, Gary Garrow Jr., Tammy Mueller (CJ Spanbauer), Heidi (Shawn) Ginter, Justin Garrow (Trisha Thilmany), Amanda Garrow (Charlie Sheldon), Trisha Garrow (William Alloway), Ashley Garrow (Donald Coy) and Brian (Sara) Garrow; his grandchildren: Joey Awonohopay Jr., Michael Awonohopay, Samantha Awonohopay, Aiden Mueller, Ava Spanbauer, Austin Ginter, Dakota Ginter, Anastasia Ginter, Abigail Ginter, Trenten Garrow, Devyn Garrow, Megan Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Saphira Lewis, Kellie Jones, Quinten Jones, Josslyn Alloway, Presten Garrow, Auron Garrow, and Ellie Garrow. Great- Grandchildren: Ashaylx Awonohopay, Joey Awonohopay III, Kallei Awonohopay, Ayden Awonohopay, Eli Awonohopay, Annette Awonohopay, Annie Awonohopay, Sky Awonohopay and Joilynn Awonohopay; his brothers Wayne Garrow, Frank Garrow, Robert Garrow, Frank “Bucky” Garrow, his sisters Marlene (Raymond) Lange and Lois Craft; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Evelyn, his sister, Helen Frisque, and his grandson Matthew Lewis Jr. The visitation for Gary will take place on Thursday evening, February 14, 2019 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service. Immediately following the service, there will be a procession to Nativity Catholic Cemetery where a Graveside Service will be held. A luncheon will take place after the interment in the banquet room at the Hildebrand Funeral Home.
