Jean’s Obituary Jean M. Haring, 68 of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her home. Jean was born January 1, 1951 in Rhinelander to Raymond and Stella (Ciula) Joslin and grew up in Rhinelander. She was a 1970 graduate of Rhinelander High School.

Jean went on to Beauty College in Wausau. After graduating, Jean was employed at Judy’s for Beauty in Rhinelander and was employed there until 1974. She met her future husband Al Haring in Rhinelander and they were united in marriage on October 26, 1974 at the little log church in Bundy, (Our Saviors Lutheran Church).

The couple welcomed their first daughter, Jessica to the family in 1975 and their second daughter, Amy to the family in 1977. In 1980 the family moved to Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin so Al could finish attending college. During this time, Jean was employed as a Beautician at the local nursing home.

In 1982 the family moved to Wausau and later that same year moved to Davenport, Iowa. The family lived there for four years. In 1986 the family moved to Coon Rapids, Minnesota a suburb of Minneapolis.

In 1990 Jean attended Anoka Technical College receiving an Associate Degree in Secretarial Science in 1992. She was employed with the Social Security Administration in St. Paul, Minnesota as a Data Entry Clerk and was employed there until 2004. Jean enjoyed putting together puzzles and word search.

She enjoyed camping in the Minocqua/Woodruff area on Crystal Lake or Clear Lake. Later at Grand Marais area and Superior Hiking Trail in Northern Minnesota. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband; Al, two daughters; Jessica Haring-Becher of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Amy Haring of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, grandma to Isabelle and Abby, one sister; Kim (Fred) Moser of Rhinelander, two brothers-in-law; Ken Bigelow of Plover, Wisconsin and Darrell Juedes of Rhinelander.

Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Raymond and Stella Joslin, brother; Randy “Jaws” (Lorraine) Joslin, sisters; Linda Bigelow and Joan Juedes and one nephew; Travis (Heather) Juedes. The visitation for Jean will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Jean’s Life.

Jean’s favorite color was orange and the family requests that everyone wear an article of clothing representing this color. Memorial contributions in honor of Jean may be given to ALSAC/St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 5353 Wayzata Blvd. #500, St. Louis Park, Minnesota 55416.
