Robert’s Obituary Robert “Bob” M. Hulbert, 84, of Rhinelander, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota on Monday, February 12, 1934, the son of Robert and Ann (Miller) Hulbert. He was a 1952 graduate of Duluth Central High School and was a 1964 graduate of U.W. Superior where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education.

Bob was united in marriage to Marlene J. Stoich at St. Louis Catholic Church in 1962. He and Marlene moved to Rhinelander where he taught at Rhinelander Junior High School for thirty-one years and was a twenty-one year employee with WPS. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War and for ten years with the Army Reserve achieving the rank of Platoon Sergeant.

He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church and the Rhinelander American Legion. Bob enjoyed trout fishing, spending time at the cabin in Lake Tomahawk and camping. Surviving Bob are other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Marlene on August 8, 2018 and by his loving daughter; Tracie Ann Hulbert on November 2, 2017.
