MOUNTOURSVILLE – Gary L. Michael, 59, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at his home surrounded by family. Gary was married to the former Linda (Updegraff), who survives. Gary was born in Danville on February 25, 1959 and was the son of Anna (Toutner) Michael of Muncy and the late Neal Michael.

He graduated from Muncy High School in 1977. He had served with the US Airforce. Gary had worked as a welder at Thermal Product Solutions.

He was a social member of the VFW in Muncy and Zafar Grotto. He was also a member of the Highland Manor. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and was a Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan.

In addition to his mother Anna and his wife Linda, he is survived by two sons; Dustin Michael of Montoursville and Jai Mosier (Sheri) of Montoursville, one grandson; Gage Mosier of Montoursville and three brothers; Allen Michael, Daniel Michael and Donald Michael (Corina), all of Muncy. There will be a public viewing 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation & Funeral Home, 500 West 4th St., Williamsport where the funeral will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors.
