Thelma E. Vaughn, 88, formerly of Jersey Shore, and Nippenose Valley, passed away Sunday Nov. 11, 2018, at her residence in Williamsport. Thelma was born Oct.

25, 1930, in Jersey Shore, the daughter of Chester Fetterhoff, and the former Viola Parsons. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Vaughn, Jan. , 6, 2006.

They were united in marriage Nov. 18, 1955, in Williamsport. Also preceding her in death was a grandson, Matthew Aungst.

She was retired from Litton Industries and was a member of the Oriole Methodist Church. Thelma loved reading, gardening and doing things with her family. Thelma is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Aungst (Glenn Miller), of Lancaster; a son, Keith A. Morehart (Kathy Yaw), of Williamsport; six grandchildren, Ami Aungst-Packer, Luther Aungst III, Heidi Lorson, Mark Aungst, Shawn Morehart, and Shannan Schurer and families; 17 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan, Victoria, Rachel, Luther, Mikaylah, Nikotah, Ava, Emily, Zachary, Megan, Joeb, Derrick, Paige, Lorilai, James, and Alli; and two great-great-grandchildren, Ayden and Gaia.

A time of visitation will be held 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday Nov. 17, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, at Welker Funeral Home.

Pastor David McCoy will officiate. She will be laid to rest at a later date in the Limestone Cemetery, next to her husband.
