Gay Anne Montgomery, 77, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home. Gay Anne was born on April 2, 1941 in Springfield the daughter of Roland and Evelyn Agnew Montgomery. Gay Anne graduated from Greenview High School in 1959.

She was employed by the State of Illinois Department of Central Management Services, as a manager, for 32 years. She retired in 1991. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Joyce Palmer and Patty Montgomery.

She is survived by one brother, Richard (Janice) Montgomery of Springfield; one sister, Carla (Barry) Clemens of Greenview; one aunt; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; one great-great-niece; one great-great-nephew; and several cousins. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Reverend Nathaniel Kern officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.
