Gayle Long Hayes 60, of Georgetown died Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at her home. She was born in Columbus County December 9, 1958, the daughter of Mrs. Lula Norris Long of Nakina and the late Signal Long. She is survived by her husband, Richard Hayes; two sons, Ricky Hayes of Georgetown, SC, Ethan Hayes and wife, Erin of Georgetown, SC; a daughter, Jessica Lambert and husband, John of Georgetown, SC; four grandchildren, Landon , Layla, and Gabriel Hayes, Trevin Lambert; her mother, Lula Long of Nakina; two brothers, David Long and wife, Faye of Nakina, Tim Long and wife, Crystal of Nakina; a sister, Melissa Benton of Nakina.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hayes Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2019 at Peacock Funeral Home.
