Delco: Alice Nobles Croom, 75 of Delco died Thursday , February 14, 2019 . She was the daughter of the late Jetter Nobles and Eva Fairfax Nobles . She was preceded in death by her sisters, Annie Mae Blackwell, Lizzie Neill and Mable Nobles, brothers, H.S. Nobles, Ed Nobles and Jetter Nobles, Jr

She worked as an inspector with DuPont, Belk Dept. Store, and with Wilmington Christian Academy as a Bus Driver. Survivors include her husband, Acie Hubert Croom Jr. of Delco, N.C., son, Richard Dean Croom of Delco, N.C., Daughter, Rita C. Rempel of Louisburg, N.C. , Brothers, Roosevelt Nobles of Chadbourn, N.C. and A.M. Nobles of Whiteville, N.C., sister, Ida Nobles Sabo of Medina, Ohio.

, and a Granddaughter, Phenix Croom Baldwin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral Service will be Monday, February 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Livingston Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Griffin officiating .

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 12:00 noon until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.
