Patricia Gore Medlin, 70 of Lake Wacamaw died Tuesday, March 28, 2019 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center. She was born December 10, 1949 in Columbus County, the daughter o the late Montrose Gore and Lucille Jacobs Gore. Patricia was formerly a laboratory technician and supervisor at Durham County General Hospital in Durham.

She received a BS degree in Durham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry F. Medlin, a son, Jacob Michael Medlin, her parents, three brothers, M.R. Gore, J. W. Gore and Harold Wayne Gore, ; a sister, Mildred Pearl Gore and a half-sister, Effie Love. She is survived by two sisters, Frances Gore Faulk and husband, David of Tabor City and Mary Gore Norris of Whiteville; numerous nieces and nephews with special thanks and mention of Terry Byron Gore.
