Mr. Charles Henry South, Jr. 84, of Delco died Wednesday, March 15, 2019 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Lifecare Center, Whiteville. He was born February 4, 1935 in Washington County, VA the son of the late Charles H. South, Sr. and Mary Katherine Lane South. He attended Cape Fear Baptist Church.

He formerly worked as a long distance truck driver for Vanguard Furniture in Hickory, NC. He is survived by daughter, Vickie Baity and husband, Kent of Advance, NC and raised as daughter and sons Tammy West, Stevie West of Hickory and Randy West of Colorado; grandchildren,Patrick Baity, Westley Baity (Amy) Amy; great grandchildren, Courtney Baity, Kaitlyn Baity (John), Madison Baity; great geat grandchildren, John D. Bowden. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
