Gene Seymour Hernandez, 47, of Terre Haute passed away July 15, 2018 at 12:42 a.m. in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born October 12, 1970 in Riverside, California to his father and mother, Guadalupe Mendoza Hernandez. Gene was a contractor in the construction industry.

He also enjoyed kickboxing. He is preceded in death by his mother, Guadalupe Mendoza Hernandez. He is survived by his parents, John and Donna Provens of New York, his sons; Robert Rooksbury, Cisco and Storm Hernandez all of Terre Haute, and Gage Yougin of Florida, a daughter, Selania Hernandez of Terre Haute, sister, Virginia Hernandez Hughes, Sabrina (Christian) Asenato, and Charity Jones of Florida, brothers; Michael Hernandez of Clinton, Robert Hernandez Sr. (Michelle) of Terre Haute, and John Provens, along with many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been chosen with a memorial services to be scheduled at a later date. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804 was entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.
