Keith Byron Daugherty, 76, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday July 7, 2018 at 5:10 am in Westridge Healthcare. He had worked for many years at Texas Eastern Gas Transmission Company. Keith was born April 26, 1942 in French Lick, IN to John and Mabel Daugherty.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Cox) Daugherty; a son, Byron “Kirt” Daugherty (Velvet) of West Baden, IN; a daughters, Tracey Lynn Waldon of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Hope Elizabeth Slaughter, Hunter Scott Jones, and Emma Evitts; sisters, Joan Ward of Martinsville, IN, Glenda Hall of Roanoke, VA, and Barbara Daugherty of Paoli, IN; mother-in-law, Mary F. Cox of Terre Haute; and brother-in-law, Paul Cox of French Lick, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Vance Daugherty and Marvin Daugherty. Keith was a member of Union Baptist Church in Terre Haute and also Cane Creek Christian Church in French Lick.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #76 in French Lick, IN and he loved music and spending time with family. Visitation will be Wednesday July 11, 2018 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM in Union Baptist Church, 4075 E. Harlan Dr., Terre Haute, IN 47802 with funeral services at 3:00 pm in the church with Pastor Rod Maris officiating. Cremation will follow.
