Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd. , Kansas City, MO 64131.

Entombment will follow at Mount Olivet Mausoleum, Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Brookdale Hospice. Genevieve was born March 8, 1931, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Frank and Flora (Sorrentino) Baccala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zeffiro, in 2017; her brother, Nick Baccala; and her sisters, Sister Margaret Baccala, Marie (Baccala) Husbenet, Dolores (Baccala) Adams, and Dorothy Jean (Baccala) Lamb. Genevieve is survived by her son, George Zeffiro; daughter, Angela Kubayko; her grandchildren, Danielle Shelton, Kayla and Joseph Zeffiro, Margaret Ann and Julianna Kubayko; sisters, Deva Flahive (Charlie), Theresa Manzella; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staffs of Brookdale Wornall Place, Brookdale Senior Living in Leawood, and Brookdale Hospice for the care given to our mother Genevieve.
