Genevieve “Jenny” Salerno Casterline, of Hanover Township, died Thursday, July 19, 2018, at home. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Kulekoski Salerno and was a graduate of Plains High School. Jenny was active with the American Legion, Ashley and prior to retirement worked for Muskin Pools and John Heinz.

She was preceded in death, in addition to per parents, by her first husband, John Slavitsko; second husband, Darryl Casterline; sons, John Jr. and David Slavitsko and two infant daughters. Jenny is survived by her daughter, Darla Salerno, Pittston; brother, Michael Salerno and his wife, Liz, White Haven; sister, Ann Marie Crich, Plains, one niece, nephews, one great nephew and great nieces. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 23, 2018, at 10:00 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave.

Wilkes-Barre with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 22, 2018, from 4 to 6 pm and on Monday morning, from 9:30 am until time of service.
