George’s Obituary George Bitson, age 90 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Newaygo County Compassion House following a brief illness. George is survived by his wife, Lynn and had worked at Gerber Products Company in Fremont for many years. George was member of the Fremont United Methodist Church where he had served on various board and committees.

George was also a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the United States Army. VISITATION : Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 2-3pm at the Fremont United Methodist Church 351 Butterfield Fremont MI 49412 with a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 3pm at the Fremont United Methodist Church. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Newaygo County Compassion Home in memory of George.
