George’s Obituary George L. Fitts, Jr. 94 George L. Fitts, Jr. of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Auburndale. He was born January 7, 1925 in Concord, New Hampshire to the late George L. and Ella M. (Tanner) Fitts, Sr He has been a resident of the area since 2001 coming from Concord, New Hampshire.

He was a Barber for 25 years and a Social Worker for the State of New Hampshire. He was a veteran in the United States Army serving in WWII and Korea. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Warren, NH, Old Fellows of Hopkinton, NH and American Legion in NH.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marion Fitts. He is survived by his sons George L. Fitts II and wife Florance of Concord, NH, John Fitts and wife Elizabeth of Lake Wales, FL, Michael Fitts and wife Trudy of Barrington, NH, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A private family service will be held in New Hampshire.
