Obituary of George Franklin Betts “Frank” George Franklin Betts, “Frank,” passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019. He was born on November 13, 1929 in Millsboro, DE to the late William J. and Anne Mitchell Betts. He is survived by his wife Laura Betts; two children: Deborah L. Cantwell (Karl Schatz, sig.

other) and Bill J. Betts (Jennie); and two step-children: Raymond Nichols (Debbie) and Sharon Reed. A son, Alan W. Betts preceded Frank in death. He was also preceded by two siblings: Elizabeth Hall and William J. Betts, Jr. There are nine grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Frank attended a small schoolhouse off Rt. 20 on Godwin School Road. He like to do puzzle books, watching professional baseball and NASCAR, and always kept his vehicle immaculate.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Harbor Health Care, and the Beebe Hospital Nursing Staff for the care he received. A graveside service will be held in Millsboro Cemetery on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 2:00 PM.
