George John Kukarola passed away peacefully Saturday, December 15, at the age of 77. George was born April 19, 1941 in Northfield, OH and raised there along with four siblings. He graduated from Northfield High School in 1958 and was a resident of Austintown for 50 years.

An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, George worked for a time at GM and later worked as a deliveryman for Wonder Bread. After retiring he delivered for Papa John’s in Austintown. George was an avid Cleveland professional sports fan, especially Indians baseball.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son Christopher Kukarola of Austintown, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Denise and Dennis O’Hare, also of Austintown. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Cutting Kukarola who passed December 4, 2017. Per George’s wishes no services were held, and interment took place at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
