George Etherton, 83 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died January 19, 2019 at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale, Arkansas. Born March 29, 1935 in Breckenridge, Missouri he was the son of Robert Lee Etherton and Carolyn Goldsby Etherton. George married Marilyn Dean on April 18, 1954 and he worked for Rock Island Railroad.

They moved to this area from Trenton, Missouri in the 1980’s. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Dennis and two sisters. Survivors include his sons Randy Etherton and wife Brenda of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Bob Etherton of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Gary Etherton of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and daughter Rebecca Etherton of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; daughter in law Tina Etherton of Gurdon, Arkansas; sister in law Jonalee Stickler and husband Kenny of St. Joseph, Missouri.
