Jonathan “Jon” Lowell Packard, 55 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on February 24, 2019 at his home. He was born on April 15, 1963 in Portland, Oregon to Milton Packard and Janet (Hopper) Packard. Jon moved to Siloam Springs when he was 18 to attend John Brown University.

While at John Brown University, he met Karrie Hines and they were married on June 8, 1984 at Harvard Avenue Baptist Church. Jon worked as a painter and glassworker. He also spent 13 years working for Dayspring Cards in Siloam Springs.

Jon was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Siloam Springs. He is survived by his wife, Karrie Packard; daughter, Melissa Johnston and husband Stephen of Siloam Springs; son, Wesley Packard of Siloam Springs; his parents, Milton and Janet Packard of Grand Junction, Colorado; brother, Christopher Packard and wife Amy of Grand Junction; sister, Connie Mercer of Grand Junction; brother-in-law, Raymond Hines and wife Natalie of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Sharrie McBride and husband Isaac of Siloam Springs; nephews, Joshua Packard and wife Alysha, Lindon Mercer, and Shawn Mercer; nieces, Courtney Mercer, Heidi McBride, Natasha Knowles and husband Denny, and Stephanie Short and husband Tyler; and nine great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2019 at Liberty Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Wes Flaugh and Pastor Randy Fleming officiating.
