David W. White, 79, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Bradford House Nursing and Rehab in Bentonville, Arkansas. David was born on November 25, 1939 in Yoakum, Arkansas, a son of the late Vern Presley White and Ruby Nell (Trimble) White. He served in the US Navy and was a graduate of the University of Arkansas.

David was a member of the Elmdale Baptist Church, the Highfill Raider Riding Club, and the Cave Springs Farmer’s Co-op Board. Most of his life was spent in Springdale and Highfill farming and taking care of his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Anna Jean White.

David is survived by his children, Teresa Bollinger and husband Scott of Trenton, Texas and Travis White and wife Debbie of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Brana Dunlap, Tera Sallee, Ashton Luedecke and Jed White; nine great grandchildren, Caiden Sallee, Hadden Stiles, Emery Sallee, Mika Villegas, Charlize Prince, Kade White, Landry Luedecke, Lauren Luedecke and Archer White; two siblings, Robert Vern White and wife Donnie of Highfill, Arkansas and Jane Whittle and husband Harold of Springdale, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held 10:00am on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the First Baptist Church Highfill.

Pastor Johnny Farmer will officiate the service. Committal service to follow at the Highfill Cemetery.
