Myrna Jo (Fox) McClard, 87 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on February 13, 2019 in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on May 30, 1931 in Purcell, Oklahoma. Myrna is the daughter of William and Delphia Fox and grew up in the Johnson Community, northwest of Purcell.

She married Wayne McClard on April 25, 1948 and they were married by the Rev. W.W. McAlister in the front room of McAlister’s farm home. They lived in Norman, Oklahoma from 1951 to 1983, when they moved to Goldsby, Oklahoma.

Myrna helped Wayne in his business and was a homemaker. She was actively involved in the Norman Professional Business Women’s Club and also served as past president for the Norman Municipal Auxiliary. They retired in 1988 and traveled across the US in an RV.

Myrna loved to travel and made two trips to Europe. The McClards attended the Washington Pentecostal Holiness Church from the time they were children, which is where they met. In 1999, they moved to Siloam Springs where they lived near their children.

She was a founding member of Corner Post Cowboy Church. Myrna was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Wayne McClard; one son, Bill and his wife Paula of Rogers, Arkansas; and one daughter, Gayla Byrd and her husband Clifford of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and one sister, Nadine Keith Andrews of Washington, Oklahoma.

She also has five grandchildren and six great grandchildren with a seventh due in May. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2019 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Rev. John Hooser officiating.

Burial will follow at Yell Cemetery in Robinson Community. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Myrna’s name to Corner Post Cowboy Church at Chamber’s Bank in Johnson, Arkansas, www.
