George Davis, 79, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Born March 16, 1939 in North Little Rock, George was the eldest child of Abb Fort and Ruth B. Davis. He retired after 42 years from Peterson Concrete.

George is survived by his brother, Ben Davis (Diane) of England; sisters Betty Broggi (Orville) of Paris and Connie Simmons, of New Blaine; children: Rodney and Veronica of California; step-children: Alfred DeRoach of Fayetteville and Connie Stafford of North Little Rock; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Lola Davis. A visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2019, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
