Barbara “Bobbie” Tanner, 78, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. She was born February 28, 1940 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charles Raymond and Edith Loraine Tanner. She was an administrator for 41 years with the Veterans Administration Hospital.

She bowled in 39 National tournaments and was a member of Arkansas Bowling Hall of Fame. Bobbie loved all sports and was the Razorback “Assistant Coach”. She is survived by her sister, Carol Gray; nephews, Stephen and Charles Gray and Mike Greene; nieces, Stacey and Stephanie Greene; grandchildren, Gracie, Catelyn, Lexi and Caleb Greene, Bentley and Keegan Gray and Todd Suda; and her special friends, Reba Abbott, Suda Bailey, Chris “Toby” Rayborn and Julia Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Greene; brother, Charles “Chuck” Tanner and her brother-in-law, Charles Gray. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverwood Memorial Park.

A visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 26th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be may to Smyrna Full Gospel Church, 1675 Smyrna Road, Lonoke, AR 72086 or the Pulaski County Humane Society.
