Georgia’s Obituary Georgia Ethel Arrington, 99, of Pine Bluff passed away January 28, 2019. She was born November 23, 1919 in Stewart, Mississippi to the late George Leroy Andrews and Melvertie Viola Teasley Andrews. Georgia was reared and received her education in Cleveland, Mississippi, and moved to Pine Bluff in 1944.

Mrs. Arrington was a member of Broadmoor Missionary Baptist Church. She worked as a machine operator for Hudson Pulp and Paper Company for 27 years. In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by one son, William Jackson Humphreys; three sisters, Rudy Hood, Tishie Smith and Grace Pruden.

She is survived by two daughters, Frances Mills of Wetumpka, Alabama, Mary Ann Jackson of Pine Bluff; one son, James Humphreys of Shreveport, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren.
