Obituary for Georgia Lee Morrow (Gregory) Georgia Lee (Gregory) Morrow, 72, of Liberty, MO passed away peacefully at home on December 21, 2018. A visitation will be from 12-2pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Carson-Speaks Funeral Home 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO, 64052. A service will follow at 2pm with Rev.

Jim Brison of Springfield Mo,and Pastor Kevin Jerls of Kansas City Church officiating, at Carson-Speaks Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Washington Cemetery Independence, Mo.

Georgia was born in Miami OK to George & Fay (Bunce) Gregory on July 19, 1946. She graduated from William Chrisman high school in Independence Missouri. Georgia worked at Plastic Enterprises in printing and packaging for 40 years.

Georgia accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in 1979 at Blue Ridge Assembly of God in KCMO where she was a member for 34 years. She was also a children’s Sunday school teacher there for 20 + years, and a Missionettes leader, she loved to dance and loved music, and crocheting afghans for family and and friends babies. Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Gregory, and her daughter Martha Morrow.

Georgia is survived by one son John Morrow, & wife Teresa; two sisters: Clois Roy (Bernie), Clara Smittle (Mike); brother Tom Gregory (Shirley); 6 grandchildren Jeffery Singleton, Michael Crenshaw, Tierra Morrow, Justin Morrow, Jace Morrow & Tanisha Jaynes; and 2 great-grandchildren Waylon Singleton & Grayson Singleton.
