Georgianna Kay Allen Petersen, 66, wife of George Petersen, died peacefully at Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont, in Greenwood, SC on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Born on April 7th, 1952, in Williamson, West Virginia, Georgianna grew up in the small town of Grundy, Virginia. A coal miner’s daughter, her family included nine siblings, six (one brother and five sisters) are still living in various cities throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.

She was loved and will be remembered by her husband; a son and a daughter; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends who knew her as a loving, honest, Christian woman.
