Marshall Ray Young, 89, resident of NHC HealthCare, Greenwood, widower of Elizabeth Faye Young, died Saturday, January 12, 2019. Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late George G. and Callie Mae Young. He retired from Sunbeam Bread Company after 29 years and was a US Marine Veteran, where he served during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Young attended Ninety Six Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving is his brother, Douglas Young of Greenwood. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Giles and a brother, Ed Young.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev. Johnnie Waller officiating. Burial will follow the service.
