Gerald “Jerry”‘s Obituary Gerald J. “Jerry” Suchner, age 79 of White Cloud, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Altercare Nursing Center in Big Rapids. Jerry was born on December 3, 1939 in Walled Lake to Norman John and Fern Katherine (Reimer) Suchner. Jerry met and later married Norma Dirette on July 8, 1961 in Walled Lake.

Jerry had worked for the Ford Motor Company, Wixom – Lincoln Plant in the paint quality control department for 32 years until his retirement in 1991. After retirement, Jerry and Norma moved to the White Cloud area where they were members of the Country Bible Church. Jerry truly treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, enjoyed collecting and restoring cars and Cushman scooters, downhill skiing, hunting and motorcycle riding.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma of White Cloud; his children and grandchildren, son – Chris (Linda) Suchner of White Cloud and their children, Alexa (fiancé, Jacob Chapman) and Spencer (fiancé Caitie Wilk); son – Craig (Lynette) Suchner of Newaygo and their children, Mitchell and Hannah; his sisters, Joanne (Paul) Cappolla of Clermont, Florida; Sherrianne Perigo of Ocala, Florida; several nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Fern. VISITATION : Monday, January 7, 2019 from 5-7pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel 7193 W. 48th Street, Fremont, MI 49412 and Tuesday from 10-11am at the Country Bible Church.

FUNERAL SERVICES : Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11am at the County Bible Church 3145 W. 24th Street, Fremont, MI 49412 with Rev. Len Lason of the Country Bible Church presiding with interment in the Lincoln Township Cemetery. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the Country Bible Church for memorial contributions in memory of Jerry.
