Pauleen’s Obituary Pauleen M. Cousineau, age 99 of Fremont, passed away peacefully at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Pauleen was born on March 23, 1919 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to William and Barbara (Harrison) Edbrooke. Pauleen later married Walter Plantiko and he preceded her in death in 1965.

Pauleen then met and married Leon Cousineau on March 5, 1970 in Fremont and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2009. Pauleen moved to the Fremont area in 1953 from Milwaukee and had been a bank teller at the Old State Bank and later retired from Safeway Lumber where she had been a book keeper. Pauleen was a master gardener and always had a large garden, had been a 4H Leader for several years, enjoyed quilting, knitting, music, reading books, cooking and collecting cookbooks, feeding and watching the birds and had been a Girl Scout Leader, member of the Order of Eastern Star and leader with Job’s Daughters.

Pauleen had attended the Holton United Methodist Church where she had been active as well. Pauleen loved all her family unconditionally and enjoyed her family and over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Throughout her life, Pauleen had baby sat most of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pauleen is survived by her children, Barb (Ted) Clark of Fremont; Susan (Ron) Frens of Fremont; Dale Sackett of Fremont; step daughters, Michelle (Forrest) Morrill of Wisconsin; Denise (Jim) Dahl of Colorado; 34 grandchildren; many great grandchild ; and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Tibbe and her brother, William Edbrooke; her step son, Larry Cousineau. VISITATION : Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 1-2pm at Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel 7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES : Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Pauleen.
