Obituary for Gerald Lavern Scott Print Gerald Lavern Scott, 81, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born on April 23, 1937, the son of William Scott and Elsie (Woodard) Scott. Gerald honorably and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War era.

He was a member of the Family Alter Chapel in Battle Creek. Gerald is survived by his Wife, Gloria Jean (Stamm) Scott; Six Children, Bill (Kathy) Scott, Tracy (Vickie) Scott, Gregory (Corrine) Scott, Debbie (Greg) Benton, Ronald (Carrie) Felder, Theresa (John) Antes; Sister, Sharon (Rich) Peterson; Three Step-Brothers, Gary, Mike and Frank Walker, 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother, Bill Scott, Sister, Margie Myers and Step-Sister, Kathy Banks.

Gerald was an avid golfer. He loved hunting, fishing and attending church. His main passion in life however, was spending time with his family and making memories with them as the years passed.

He was a good man that enjoyed his life, he will be truly missed by those that knew him and loved him. Memorial Services will be held at the Family Altar Chapel, 14844 61/2 Mile Road, on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Travis Davis officiating.
