Obituary for Larry Guy Schroeder Larry Guy Schroeder, 68, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at his home. He was born April 6, 1950 in Battle Creek, the son of Jack and Marjorie (Stone) Rench and was later adopted by Raymond Schroeder at the age of 3. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of The Eagles, Polish National Alliance, and a past member of The Elks Lodge #131.

He married Roxeen Moldenhauer on March 17, 1989 in Battle Creek. Larry served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Clark Equipment for 16 years, Associated Construction for 10 plus years, and then retired from KOYO after 5 years of service.

In his younger years Larry enjoyed bowling and playing softball. He became an avid outdoorsmen; hunting and fishing. Larry also liked canning, watching old John Wayne movies and was a huge fan of football and NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Roxy; children, Scott (Kim) Schroeder, Patrick Schroeder, Laura (Mark) Segorski, Stephen (Kristi) Wichmann and Suzy (Rick) Wilson; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Frederick (Robin) Schroeder, Gary (Carolyn) Rench, and Valerie Ismerle; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A committal service with military honors will be held Tuesday, February 19th at 1:30 PM at Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Burial will be held at a later date at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI. Memorial tributes may be made to the family.
